I had an older version of Open Office, and an older version of Java. I had no
problems with Base. I updated Java, and got an error message, saying I had no
JRE installed. I installed the newest version of OO thinking it might solve the
issue. It didn't. I'm still getting the error. I've gone through Java
troubleshooting, but their analysis tool indicates everything is running okay.
I'm NOT a programmer, and I do not know how to solve the issues. I have read
that there are issues with Win 7 64 bit, Java7.1, and Base. So add me to the
list of those with the problem. I guess I need to work on my old 32 bit XP
machine...
