I use AOO 3.4.1 on WinXP; odt-document and pdf-document show the same colors. There are settings in "Options for high contrast appearance" in Tools > Options > OpenOffice > Accessibility, which influence the colors. Please have a look at the settings there. Do you see the wrong colors only on screen, or do you see them in real print?
