I would add to Matthewk's post. This bug is in the format(font, color, italic or bold) of numbering. This format is wrongly applied on the precedence paragraph's number instead of its belonging number. The steps to observe this bug are as follows: 1) Open attachment Numbering in Writer. 2) Save it as Microsoft Word 97/2000/XP (.doc)(*.doc) 3) Compare both documents, you would see a wrong format in Micorsoft document. The snapshot of Writer's document and MS Word's can be found in MS Word SnapShot and Writer_SnapShot respectively. It is important to the find same format as the original document in Writer, and fixing this bug would help users from taking extra effort to manually fixing format in MS word.
