SVG PDF Opacity Error
Incorrect SVG Picture Opacity Export as PDF
We continue to test SVG image usage in Apache OpenOffice 3.4.1 and have found
that WRITER and DRAW do NOT correctly export SVG images with opacity.
As an example, we tested the desired functionality in the Master:
Apache OpenOffice 3.4.1
Build ID: AOO340m1(Build:9593) - Rev 1372282
On OSX 10.6.8
Steps to reproduce:
1. Locate the desired SVG picture (we used "pdf-opacity-error.svg")
2. Open a new WRITER Text Document
3. Select Insert -> Picture -> From File... (We selected
"pdf-opacity-error.svg")
4. Click Open
5. Select File -> Export as PDF...
6. Open exported PDF file.
Expected results: SVG image exported as PDF with opacity.
Actual results: SVG image exported as PDF lacks opacity.
