Tested on the following: (windows 7 x64 | Impress version 3.4.1 build: 9593 Test 1 - Test to see if a music file will work when opened by powerpoint 1. Opened Impress 2. Created a new presentation (using defaults) 3. Insert from the tool bar Choose "Slide" 4. Select "insert" from the menu then "Movie and Sound" 5. Select a .mp3 and 'open' 6. Add a title to the presentation 7. Select File and 'save as' 8. save as 'tester2.ppt' ** ODF popup warning shown, select "keep current Format" 9. close aOO 10. Open the 'tester2.ppt' with MS .ppt viewer Result: Music does not play Expected: it to start playing on the first slide Test 2 - Test to see if a music file embedded in a .swf will work when opened by a .swf viewer 1. Opened Impress 2. Created a new presentation (using defaults) 3. Insert from the tool bar Choose "Slide" 4. Select "insert" from the menu then "Movie and Sound" 5. select a .mp3 and 'open' 6. Add a title to the presentation 7. Select File and 'Export' 8. save as 'tester2.swf' 9 ** ODF popup warning shown, select "keep current Format" 10. close aOO 11.
