I don't know Writer well enough. If you do not get an answer here, I
suggest you try the forums:

Subject: WRITER: Odd conversion of footnotes
May I ask a question? When I opened a Word document in OO Writer (the
eighth
document I've worked with, and only the first time this has happened), OO
turned all the footnotes in the original into endnotes. Is there a way to
convert them back easily? I see how to reformat either footnotes or
endnotes,
but not how to switch from one to the other. Any ideas? 131 endnotes is a
lot
to cut-and-paste by hand...
Thanks,
Michelle MIller
