Every time I open Open Office 3.1 writer -- either from within, or from a
word file, the program shows two "untitled" files it will
"recover." The
files don't exist. Recovery "fails" and the program crashes. What

I uninstalled and installed a new download of OOo last week and still get
the same problem. Thanks.
May be: In the User directory is a folder crashdata. Delete the content
of it.
Don't forget to terminate OOo and quickstarter.
