Hi Ian, The best help I can give you is this - the PostgresSQL SBDC does not work, it has not for a long time. There is no reason to believe it will be fixed, unless you are going to code it. You can connect to postgres with JDBC or ODBC currently, JDBC is more capable feature wise, but much slower the ODBC. If you need connectivity with Postgres then there is another office suite available that will do so, for that has been not just fixed but enhanced.
