I tried this on Ubuntu 11.10 with AOO 3.4. It worked correctly
Same for me. Note that actually step 5 is redundant and may confuse
Calc: just make cell A1 (in Sheet2) active (i.e., click on it) before
pasting, and the paste operation will work just the same.
