Hi,
I know it is not a plite request. But I do need help.Oops is good proxy software so I do not want to leave.
would somebody help me? Is it a bug,or just my fault?
I just "cp oops.cfg.sample oops.cfg" and modified the "oops.cfg" to see if acl works.
oopsctl stop then start seems not to update ACLs like:
acl LOCAL_NETWORKS src_ip include:/usr/local/etc/oops/acl_local_networks
, despite the message:
Named ACL LOCAL_NETWORKS src_ip include:/usr/local/etc/oops/acl_local_networks
DATA: LOCAL_NETWORKS src_ip include:/usr/local/etc/oops/acl_local_networks

I can not find the reason. I am using oops-1.5.22 with db4 support on a FreeBSD 4.5-release box.I have already compiled oops on solaris 8 , The "acl LOCAL_NETWORKS src_ip include:/usr/local/etc/oops/acl_local_networks" doesn't work either.
It seems that oops just read the file acl_local_networks , and then bypass all the ip range
and ip address in the file. even a single ip address in file "acl_local_networks" oops still bypass it. in client browsers , oops said 400 error.
I tried again and again with different install option and different os just want to know is it my misconfig?
patch or not patch ; with db or without db; FreeBSD or Solaris; nothing will make it. Is it my fault?

thanks.
