I'm using a proxy-cache to attempt to "tee" a single stream of large
object data for parrallel computation among many nodes.
I have done some unsuccessful guesswork with oops, trying to implement
cache hits upon ftp and http files ranging in size from 50 megs to 5 gigs.
I have tweaked the 1 or 2 obvious configs in oops.cfg but it is
otherwise bone stock. no luck, the files are not cache hits on
concurrent or successive fetches (through curl -x http://localhost:xx80 )
.
from the experts, how would i create a 200 gig cache repo, with 50m-5g
object sizes, with a 1 hour minimum retention?
