There are a number of image files for which we do not have the source. A big one is the ooRexx logo. A friend of Mark Hessling created that image. We should ping Mark and see if we can get the source.

Also note that a lot of images are duplicated in each subdir for each document. Please do not move them to a single shared location! If you do they will be missing from the HTML build and no error will be generated. That is why they are duplicated for each document.

I propose to do the changes on rxsock, and test the result with the build machine. Then I will apply the changes to the rest of the documentation, if it works.

Here are my questions :-)

Q1
In which directory do I apply the changes : docs/trunk ? (I think it's mandatory for the build machine)
What I plan to do :
remove the .png suffix from sgml files (when .odg available)
modify shared/oorexx.print.dsl to declare .pdf as default suffix

Q2
There are 109 .odg images in the ooRexx documentation : 19 in rexxpg, 87 in rexxref, 3 in rxsock Are you ok if I create one pdf file for each .odg (in the same directory as .odg and .png), and commit them to svn ?

Q3
The following .jpg images should be also replaced by .pdf images :
oodialog : dlgarea.jpg (p423), dlgareaplan.jpg (p428), rxou0s12.jpg (p6), rxou0s24.jpg (p6) rexxpg : rxoq0s05.jpg (p62), rxoq0s06.jpg (p64), rxoq0s07.jpg (p79), rxoq0s09.jpg (p80)
Do you have the source files of these images ?
If not, I can try to redraw these pictures with OpenOffice, but no promise of success :-)

Q4
I must modify the Makefile to no longer rm *.pdf when cleaning. Only the generated pdf must be removed.
Ok ?

Jean-Louis
