One of the limitations of using Rexx/SQL in ooRexx was that you had to use
your connections in the main thread.
That is to say, you could not use it in a method after a reply, nor in a
method launched by the start message.
It would be really nice to lose that limitation.
I had hoped that we would get to a point where Rexx/SQL was clearly
supported for ooRexx 4.0 on, and I recognise that a lot of people have put a
lot into trying to make that happen, but it's still not clear to me where we
are.
If this project went ahead and proved reliable and supported, I could see
myself upgrading from 3.2. to 4.0
In my opinion, it is important that this does not stay in the incubator
forever, but once it is proven, becomes part of the distribution.
