On MacOSX running rexxtry like:

/usr/bin/rexxtry.rex lets you interactively try REXX statements.
Each string is executed when you hit Enter.
Enter 'call tell' for a description of the features.
Go on - try a few... Enter 'exit' to end.
say '&'~c2x 'ß'~c2x

..................................... /usr/bin/rexxtry.rex on MACOSX
In the above say-clause the German sharp s (ß) is used as the target of
the "c2" message. The resulting hex-string indicates that two bytes are
processed, although a single character is given.
Question: is this an error or not?
