Some of you may have noticed that the Build Machine has been rather static
lately i.e. no new VMs have been added of late. This is due to a problem I have
with my DHCP server.

I currently utilize my Netgear firewall/router as my DHCP server. When I add a
new VM to the build machine I add its MAC address to the Netgear DHCP server so
that it gets the same IP address when it boots. It seems that there is a
maximum
number of addresses that I can enter into the Netgear database so I can not add
any new VMs as DHCP clients. So I am going to have to change to giving static
addresses to my VMs. I am going to start with all the new VMs I want to add (I
have 4 at the moment) in using this new scheme and keep the old ones as they
are.

It has taken me some time to figure out how to make this happen without
disruption to the build cycle. But I have a plan now and you will see some new
VMs coming on line over the next few days.
