Of course, anything can happen, but I would say at this point that continued use and support of Publican is assured. This is mostly because they have appeared to have given language translation a very high priority in the development of the system. That feature alone will probably assure the continued use of Publican by Red Hat and Fedora and will probably lead to it expansion to other Linux distributions and other free software projects.
