I do not have strong feelings one way or the other about a rename. But let me propose this: add a publican directory to the trunk directory and store the finished (converted) docs there. That way a single checkout can get both versions from the trunk. And it will make it easier to keep both versions in sync until we are ready to go live with the publican version.
