Since 12.04 is an LTS release, not 12.10 for example, perhaps kill of 12.10 and 
keep 12.04 alive?

12.04 will be supported through April 2017, whereas 12.10... aaahhh...

Looks like it is already a dead release of Ubuntu. Thus, I would vote to kill 
12.10 and bring 12.04 back, please.
