I agree. One of the reasons many of us are using Rexx in the first
place is that we either do not have the time or find the c-ish languages and
tools too difficult to learn to work with.
I have learned to do basic installs of source packages in Linux, but
I often struggle when glitches come up because I don't really understand
how the underlying tools work, or how to diagnose their messages.
