Rick, I guess this is mostly for you. I need advice. PDCurses is a public domain version of the curses library (and I do mean Public Domain). The source code is without any license and freely available on SourceForge and other repositories. It is portable to Windows and should compile easily on that platform.
I want to include the PDCurses source into the orxncurses library for Windows. This will give the Windows environment the same functionality as the *nix environment without the need for the Windows user to install any other support libraries. I think this is the same situation as the ooSQLite library, but I would like to be sure. The ooSQLite library provides a readme that explains the mixed qualities of the source. I will do the same for PDCurses. Let me know if you think this will work. If it will, I have some followup questions about how to organize the code for you.
