Double-checked by looking for the compiler flags CMake generates für debug 
versions
("-DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=DEBUG"), which can be found in 
CMakeFiles\xyz.dir\flags.make and there the
definition for CXX_FLAGS.

P.S.: So the errors I have observed with the 32 and 64 bit debug versions are 
not linked to
optimizing problems.
