Hi there, you might be interested in these nutshell samples, because of ooRexx or BSF4ooRexx or maybe because of the other scripting languages.
The taglib library was written in order for the ooRexx programmers to become able to write web server applications (which has become to be *quite* easy). More in the talk next week. (BTW this year's ApacheCon is free for everyone who registers there are plentiful of interesting talks organized in different tracks!) Cheers ---rony -------- Forwarded Message -------- Subject: Re: ApacheCon@Home, Tomcat-Track, request for input ... Date: Mon, 13 Sep 2021 19:42:42 +0200 From: Rony G. Flatscher (Apache) <r...@apache.org> Reply-To: Tomcat Users List <us...@tomcat.apache.org>, Tomcat Users List <us...@tomcat.apache.org> To: Tomcat Users List <us...@tomcat.apache.org> In the meantime I have prepared a few nutshell examples to demonstrate how to use scripting languages with Tomcat for the talk. In case anyone is interested you can find them here (a rather old Linux machine): * Tomcat 9 (Java EE): <http://137.208.114.23:42857/demoASF2021/>, Java 8 LTS * Tomcat 10 (Jakarta EE): <http://137.208.114.23:42858/demoASF2021/>, Java 11 LTS The scripting languages (not sure whether I keep all of them for the talk) currently are: * ooRexx (implemented in C++ with a Java bridge) * JavaScript (Nashorn, JVM) * Groovy (JVM) * Jython (JVM) * PHP/Resin (JVM) You will be able to see the sources of the JSPs and the code right via the supplied JSP-links. Any remarks/feedback welcome! ---rony P.S.: Please note, I will be off for a few days starting tomorrow noon such that the test server will not be serviced. On 20.08.2021 12:13, Rony G.
