I like that idea a lot.  

Perhaps it would also allow people easily to test whether a new 
build fixed a problem, without having to uninstall their main 
instance of ooREXX?

Also, I periodically contemplate writing code that I know some 
of my non-technical friends could use.  But I know they'd never 
be willing to install ooREXX to do so.  They might be willing to
grab a zip containing an instance of ooREXX and my program 
though.

Right now I tend to end up thinking "it'll have to be written in 
something they already have", eg VBS.   But I code in VBS so
rarely that it takes me lots longer to do & most often I never
get started.
