Dear Rony,

My advise would be to wait for the first major update release, i.e. 12.1. I 
have burned 🔥 my fingers once to many on macOS releases.

In any case I expect the changes to be for the M1 processor only.

I recently upgraded the Jenkins Mac Mini to Big Sur (so it now build fat 
binaries). That machine can not be upgraded to Monterey, it lack hardware 
necessary for the upgrade.

All my other machines are even older and run High Sierra.  The VMs on these 
machines can also not be upgraded for the same reason. Maybe when Mark upgrade 
we can have a go at testing.

I see no reason to wait with a release. We have been waiting for Godot long 
enough :-(
