I recently got a ‘should I bin this file for you because it is not often downloaded’ message from Windows 11 - for the official Regina installer from SourceForge. Certainly students should be able to build the software for themselves. That would be my advice for everyone who doubts: read the source and then build it. For a more permanent solution, I will try to get us a signing key. This is however the n-th time I try this and it always gets stuck somewhere. The other annoying part is, there has been cried ‘wolf’ so many times, that we are fully unprepared what to do when something serious happens in the supply chain.
