This is mostly addressed to Gil. Using your latest drop of bldoc_orx (currently on Windows), trying to create the rexxextensions book.
Before doing so, I ran its setup.rex which downloaded FOP 2.8 (which now works here as well, kudos!), docpath.rex, "docprep rexxextensions" and then "doc2pdf.rex".
The PDF book gets created, however no images are contained! Looking up "work_folder" (populated by docprepr.rex if not mistaken) it becomes clear that non of the "rexxextensions/en-US" subfolders get copied to it. As the xml files from "rexxtensions/en-US" are there assuming that also all subdirectories ought to be there such that the relative references to e.g. images/*.svg files can be resolved (sauf having a catalog file redirecting the physical directories).
After manually copying "rexxtensions/en-US/images" to "work_folder" it becomes possible again with "doc2pdf.rex" to produce the PDF book with the images (rail diagrams).
