Not sure that I understand this correctly. In my case the tip would display
information that would be stored as itemData and would be unique for each
item. Even though my current implementation uses tricks to store part of
this information as item text, it's not the ideal place for it, and it
doesn't work in all cases either so I can't think of another way than using
data associated with the item itself to provide that information to
whatever function there is to display it, such as infotip. In any case I
will keep all this in mind when preparing for 4.2.1.
