Staffan,
First, thanks a lot for giving the new stuff a try and for reporting
problems.
The missing symbolic ID in the tool tip program was my fault, probably
rushing to much.
However, this is the most troubling. I need your help to try and track
down what is happening here.
I just downloaded ooRexx 4.1.2 and the ooDialog 4.2.2 preview from
SourceForge, and installed them. I set browseForPrinters.rex to run with
rexxhide (changed the extension.) I then double clicked on the icon for
the program in Windows Explorer and had no problems at all. I ran the
program 10 different times and there was nothing wrong.
So, I need more information from you as to exactly what you are doing and
what is happening.
What Windows are you running on? I think Windows 7 64-bit, but I'd like to
have it explicitly stated.
What is the output from rexx -v
What do you mean by 'abnormal termination' ? Does Windows put up a dialog?
Which is it?
Does the abnormal termination happen every single time? Every so often?
It happened once but never again?

Where does the above information come from?
Does a Windows dialog open when the abnormal termination happens? Does the
Windows dialog have the option to "Report the error" ? If it does, can you
say yes. The dialog usually then gives you the option to "see what
information will be sent." Can you look at it and capture the entire log
and send it to me. Or open a bug and attach it to the bug
rexxpaws.exe**4.1.2.8305
The official build downloaded from SourceForge is 4.1.2.8304 for 64-bit.
Are you running 32-bit ooRexx? Or did you build from source?
Thanks for your help with this.
