Dear RexxLA members,
at this year's International Rexx Symposium in Memphis, Tennessee, the venue
and the dates for "The
2015 International Rexx Symposium" were fixed.
Please mark your calendars and prepare travel plans (maybe even taking your
family with you as
Vienna is a beautiful, historic European city with lots of things to learn and
see! cf.

Depending on the symposium planning and your requests/needs it may be the case
that we organize
tutorials on Sunday afternoon/evening, March 29th.
It should be possible to get rather cheap airfares. It is very worthwhile to
stay a few days on your
own in Vienna to tour the city, one of the Imperial and historic cities in
Europe, located in the
center of Europe ("heart of Europe").
As the public transportation is very well developed, it is very easy to reach
the university by e.g.
subway, such that you could stay anyplace in Vienna. We will try to locate
rooms in a hotel that is
located right next to the WU such that Rexx symposium attendees may stay there
as well.
More in the next months.
One last word: the call for presentations/papers will start in the early fall.
Please consider to
give a presentation of your own. You usually are experts in different
applications fields and
whatever your experiences and Rexx techniques, they usually are always very
interesting for your
fellow Rexxers. Or with other words: you need not be an experienced presenter
to present what *you*
do with Rexx successfully! [Mainframe-Rexx presentations explicitly
solicitated!]
So, let us join in person in 2015 here in Vienna!
