Hello Rick: > Sorry, that should have been Description, not Status. That should return > ERROR:nnnn, where nnnn is the error code. But as Erich already pointed out, > this will just indicate that there is no space left.
Thank you for the correction. I apologize for being too brief to you and Erich. Dick Goran and I developed a REXX template starting around 1996. Over the years I've been adding to it. In this case I'm working on a general routine for reporting disk errors with as much information as possible. I know my questions are very basic and after programming in REXX from its release, I should know it better. Unfortunately in 2005 I substained an injury. While it was so bad, the medication has side effect that affect memory. I am now relearning many things, including REXX. Question: You say the format is ERROR:nnnn Is there somewhere I can find a description for nnnn? As the template attempts to run under multiple OS's, the nnnn for the various REXX OS's would be great. _______________________________________________ Oorexx-users mailing list Oorexx-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/oorexx-users
