    I'm thinking we should get rid of adding every commit to the 
release-log.txt, it always creates conflicts.
    
    I'd rather do like Hadoop that there is a checkbox in the JIRA that 
indicates release-log worthiness, and at release time we update the release log 
with those JIRAs.
