Currently the cardinality of job-xml is only 1. So Its not possible to specify
multiple configuration files.
We would like to invoke jobs with multiple configuration files. The
mapreduce framework also supports invoking the job with multiple
configurations.
e. g. com.apache.foo –conf conf1 –conf conf2
The usecase is that we want to have one job specific configuration and one
common configuration file that can be shared across jobs. The information can
always be duplicated in the job specific configuration but from maintainability
point of view that’s not desirable
