If you do, that will be removed on every upgrade of `odig`, which may or not be what you want.
I wondered at some point if distinguishing temporary removal (for upgrade) from definitive removal in the metadata would be needed, but the question is still open. I know `apt-get` has `remove` and `purge` for this.
