Is there a reason you would like to keep old Boot around? New Boot and Spad are close but subtely different in operator precedence. What is your balance of `unification'? I'm asking because I have some vested interests :-) I don't really like the way `::' binds in Spad (among other things). I'm a big fan of reduction and I believe that its syntax should be short, e.g. I very much appreciate Boot's notation. But, I'm also aware of the possible confusion with operator /. I'm not sure I like the "foo"/ nottation. That notation is used in Boot largely to compensate a *parsing* problem, just like Spad parser has trouble understanding +: (%,%) -> % -- Gaby ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Check out the new SourceForge.net Marketplace.
