Dear Aleksej,

  I was given access to a Red Hat CentOS box where I can reproduce this
problem.  My theory about the shell molesting the --prologue code was
incorrect, and c:build-program was given the right parameters.  That I cannot
reproduce it on an x86_64-suse-linux is mysterous to me (as is the whole
failure at the moment).  Investigating.

ECL is no SBCL so debugging with it is no fun.
