When I initiated the migration from Old Boot to New Boot, I also implemented a switch that would compute the differences between the old forms and the new forms, and warn as appropriate. The transition was completed at least two major releases ago. I've now discontinued all Old Boot semantics on mainline (OpenAxiom-1.4.x and higher).
