Right I was asking in specifics to see if anyone had begun the process of board design.

I talked to our other ASIC guy and he says that there's a standard
interface for programming PROMs, so this won't be a problem.

I only have vague and old memories of working with chips like these. Of course, this would cost more if this chip was programmable in this fashion because you would have to socket it on the board.
