cvs ci = svn ci
cvs diff -u = svn diff
cvs up = svn up
cvs co = svn co
Yes, it's really like this :)
The differences are very small. I'm using svn for
my personal stuff for some time now and didn't do
any learning than replacing cvs by svn in the commands
i type.
The thing i like the best about svn is, that
commits are atomic over several directories.
Ie, it's one commit, it either succedes or fails
completely and reversal can be done as one and not
in several error prone steps.
I never used the "distributed development" stuff
or any other advanced feature (kinda pointless if
you are the only one working on a repo :)
