svn itself doesn't do that, it was me :)

This is somewhat just a convention on how to do it, as svn doesn't
have a special namespace for tags and branches as cvs does.
Thus you have to create copies of the stuff you want to tag.
I dunno whether it's better or worse, from my point of view
it's a bit more intuitive for someone who is already used to
work with directory trees.
