IMHO: Choose one way and stick with it.
A good mail client can handle both cases well.
I know there are allways arguments for one or the
other way. As a mailinglist admin, i was enough
often the target of such discussions and the thing
i learned from it was, that everyone will adapt
to your choice, no matter what it is, as long as you
just stick with it. If you start discussing, the
discussions will never end.
