Debugging can be quite tedious, especially if the design stage was skimped on. 
:)  But in debugging, especially with something like a graphics card, you get
very tangible and immediate results when you crack the bug.  Yes, we will all
get a big payback for the design work and documentation we are doing, but that
payback won't come for months.

Oh well, back to documentation... :)
