I belive they're also the fab for AMD aren't they?

I remember one talk from a hardware IBM guy back in the 90's. He
wasn't concerned at all about Intel chips shipping in every PC out
there (This was just before they killed the Power Personal series),
because for every system sold Intel had 1 CPU and IBM had a handful of
chips for controllers etc.

IBM have huge facilities. IIRC the fab of CPU's for Apple was 2-3% of
the capacity of that particular facility... The same fab will (Is?)
building cell processors for Sony, and PPC for XBox & Nintendo
revolution.

Then there's the 8 odd PPC (embedded) CPU's per Ford etc.
