Be careful that Matrox don't have a non-compete contract for employees to sign. I would have three partners instead of two were it not for the non-compete agreement of another major graphics card. It disallows him from doing competing work at the same time. Even being on the open graphics mailing list might be construed as a violation of that contract (unless you live in California). We had an attorney review it and everything. He decided that being able to feed his kids was more important than working on OGP. :)
