Perhaps I was a bit overzealous.  After talking further with Andy and
Howard, we determine that while we COULD have the PCB ready by Oct 1
(and indeed we may have the artwork done at that point), I left out
the fact that (a) there are some things we need to learn about to make
sure we're getting everything right, and (b) the artwork needs to be
reviewed longer than that.  Basically, we don't want to rush to blow
$6000 of our own money just to find out that we made a stupid mistake,
and there are some opportunities coming up to make those mistakes
first elsewhere.

This puts us probably back in line with the original plan
(http://opengraphics.gitk.com/ogplan.jpg) for the PCB, but with other
events happening in a different order.

(For those who don't know the terminology, a "schematic" is a logical
diagram of the board, while the "artwork" is the actual physical
layout.)
