At Tech Source, we did.  In fact, this particular board didn't even
have a separate chip for PCI.  Also notice the board on Avnet that
costs $1200 without the PCI core and $17200 WITH the PCI core.

This board is designed to be useful even without the PCI interface.

Mind you, I believe it would be a huge boost to have this interface. 
I just haven't had the time to work on it in a while.  I was planning
on using my spring break, but other things have come up to preclude
that.  This is why I talk a lot about partnerships and stuff; I'm
trying to find a way to make this my full time job, and the sooner,
the better.

A lot of the boards I've seen use Atmel parts.  I'm not sure people
care that much.

This depends on how many we sell.  But since it's a free download
anyhow, I think they might let us copy it onto a CD.
