I'm really curious about how the GPL works with regard to hardware. 
If I use your (GPL) PCI code to describe my hardware, isn't that more
like using The Gimp to create a picture than linking a program against
libreadline?  I think this sounds like a really cool way for you to
raise the money you need to get this project off the ground (and I
really want that to happen), but be sure that it will work the way you
expect it to.
