[ stuff about the 13W3 connector as used by Sun, SGI, ... ]

Don't forget sync-on-green (3 BNC)

Is the analog part of the DVI connector not good enough?

So... you're suggesting a 13W3 connector in addition to the 2 dual-link
DVI connectors?

Assuming this card goes into a standard PCI slot (as opposed to the Ethernet/
USB/FW idea), where are all these connectors supposed to go? I think some cases
have problems with 2 DVI connectors as it is.

Found some more info:

http://www.altinex.com/Products/Accessories/Accessories.htm

has a variety of 13W3 to BNC cables. (and, oddly, a 13W3 terminator)
They say:
        Older Sun used composite sync.
Newer Sun Ultra and Voyager has different pinout with separate H & V.

Cable has a 12 position dip switch. Add IBM Power PC to the 13W3 list.
The SGI section has modes for sync-on-green, composite sync, and H&V sync.
