News to me. None of my SCSI controllers even have heatsinks, much less fans or multiple slots. If they are broken, it is in a way that I haven't noticed. > Seems rather utopian to put that much on a single card and not require > a few slots physically for the heatsinks. I have Gigabit Ethernet, SATA, USB, Firewire, SCSI, RS-232, etc. controllers, none of which have heatsinks, fans, multi-slot requirements, or other special cooling needs. I have a nforce4-ultra with a modest heatsink, no fan, and the heatsink does not feel warmer than ambient. _______________________________________________ Open-graphics mailing list [email protected] http://lists.duskglow.com/mailman/listinfo/open-graphics List service provided by Duskglow Consulting, LLC (www.duskglow.com)
