I've been thinking about a standalone firewall box for home and SOHO. Ethernet in for high-speed connections RS-232 (large FIFO UART) in for POTS modems and setup Ethernet out for LAN. How many ports is the question. A single port? 4 Gigabit plus 4 100 Mbps? Something bigger, and thus more expensive than necessary for many users? OpenBSD on some read-only device for maximum security. _______________________________________________ Open-graphics mailing list [email protected] http://lists.duskglow.com/mailman/listinfo/open-graphics List service provided by Duskglow Consulting, LLC (www.duskglow.com)
