The nice thing about the OW logo, over the other two, is that it is *idea* based, instead of just being fancified text. The image of an open window incorporates both the ideas of graphics and openness, and the person emphasizes the fundamental importance of the human element -- the one who is made free by open technologies.
I too prefer more abstract logos. I don't think we need "TT" in the Traversal logo.
